Trainings are free for all Lougheed Area Guiders.  We do ask for a commitment cheque to help us ensure attendance though.  Cheques are to be dated with the date of the training. Please send us a separate cheque for each training that you would like to attend. Also, please note on the cheque which training it is for.

        Commitment fees are as follows:
                    $10 - evening or day trainings
                    $35 - weekend trainings

Cheques are returned to you after the training.  It is very important that you notify your Training representative ASAP if you can not attend a training that you have registered to attend.   Please phone if it is a last minute cancellation. 

What to Bring


When attending Camp Trainings
(Please note deadline dates when registering)

Please bring:

  • Let's Go Camping (resource book)
  • Compass (if available)
  • Notebook and pens
  • All-weather clothing

* kit for weekend camp trainings will be sent out 2 weeks prior to camp training date

 

 

When attending Training Enrichment for Adult Members (T.E.A.M.) Trainings
(Please note deadline dates when registering)

Please bring:

  • Notebook and pens
  • Program books
  • Song books
  • Outside / inside shoes
  • Battery tape recorder (if you want to record songs or music)

* kit for T.E.A.M. training will be sent out 2 weeks prior to training date

When attending Snow Camp Training:
(Please note deadline dates when registering)

  Please bring:
  • Paper and Pen
  • Water Bottle or Drink Cup
  • Permission Slip (per girl)
  • Health Form (per participant)
