Nominate a Girl Member for the BC Leadership Spirit Award
The BC Leadership Award is a new award from the BC Awards Committee for girl members. It was created to recognize girl members of any age (including Bridging Members) who contribute significantly to Girl Guides of Canada and their communities. Girls can receive this award once at each branch level. Girls or Guiders may nominate a girl member for these awards.
The BC Girl Guides Leadership Spirit Award recognizes the many unique girl members of all ages who show their abilities to lead in Girl Guides and in their communities. The symbol of the Kermode Bear was chosen as it is often referred to as the spirit bear, a unique species found only in British Columbia and the official animal of our province. Girls who achieve this award have proven to be exceptional amongst their peers whether they are Sparks, Embers, Guides, Pathfinders, Rangers, or Trex who are of Pathfinder or Ranger age. Nominations are welcome from adults or youth members.
