“Guiding has allowed me to meet many different people and learn to be grateful for the individuality people bring to the world. It’s helped me to learn how to work and interact with others, no matter how different or similar we are. Guiding has also helped me to become independent and self-driven, which has benefited me in high school a lot. I’ve always lived a very busy life, managing multiple extracurriculars and sports, so being independent and self-driven has helped me to not fall behind with my studies. Overall, Guiding has provided me with many valuable skills that have helped me become the young woman I am proud to be and will help me to pursue my career goals and be the change I’d like to see in the world.”
